Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main difference between a Training Plan and 1-on-1 Coaching?
The Training Plan is a static, digital "road map"—you get the full schedule upfront and follow it independently. 1-on-1 Coaching is a dynamic partnership where your coach monitors your progress daily and adjusts your workouts based on how you are feeling, your heart rate data, and your life schedule.

Can I switch from a Training Plan to 1-on-1 Coaching later?
Absolutely! Many runners start with a standalone plan and realize they want more feedback or accountability. If you decide to upgrade, we can transition you to a personalized program immediately.

If I buy a Training Plan, can I ask a few questions about it?
To keep the cost of our Training Plans as low as possible, they do not include coach check-ins or email support. If you feel you’ll need expert advice and regular adjustments, our 1-on-1 Coaching is the best fit for you.

Do the Training Plans include pace targets?
Yes. Every plan includes specific effort levels or pace guidelines based on your current fitness level, ensuring you aren't just running miles, but running them at the right intensity.

What happens if I get sick or injured on a Training Plan?
Because these plans are fixed, they cannot be adjusted once downloaded. For runners who are injury-prone or have unpredictable schedules, I highly recommend 1-on-1 Coaching, where we can pivot your training the moment life throws you a curveball.

How is the 1-on-1 Coaching delivered?
I use Final Surge or VO2dot to deliver your workouts. You’ll sync your GPS watch, and I will review your data, leave comments on your sessions, and update your upcoming week based on your performance.
